Painted Sand Dollars
My friend took a trip to Key Largo and brought back shells to paint for fun. We saw something similar for sale on Etsy and decided to do it our way.
Here's the for sale item:
This was for sale here at SeaEccentric shop on Etsy. We used acrylic paint, puffy paint, spray glue and glitter to paint our own sand dollars! This is what they looked like:
First we painted the entire shell with our base color and let it dry. Next we painted in the heart by following the star pattern on the shell. Next I outlined the heart on mine ( the pink one.. love pink!) with puffy paint. I let it dry for 24 hours then sprayed the glue and doused it in glitter.
Here it is hanging on the wall with the ribbon:
Seasonal Recycled Wine Bottle Decor
I love all the upcycle ideas out there. I like having something that I can change seasonally and for holidays. This project was -perfect-. I spray painted wine bottles and added flowers and things to make it seasonally relevant.
Here is July!
Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the other ones I have done. We'll just start here in July and go forward. I try to change the candle color too.. I see I forgot here, haha!
